Jose Ibanez and Jed Brewer bring thirty
years of experience as composers and fifteen years of experience as
recording engineers to the table. Within the realm of pure sound, they
have composed, produced, and
recorded pieces for projects as diverse
as string, jazz, and vocal
ensembles; rock, punk, and metal bands; r&b crooners and hip-hop
crews; trance, IDM, and illbient artists; spoken word; and
atmospherics recordings. Brewer and Ibanez's experience also extends
to mixed-media and cinema, where the duo have scored multiple films and
provided soundscapes for audio-visual performance art. On the
technical side, Vona Sound has prepared audio for everything from low-bitrate new-media
network delivery to 8.1 channel surround.
